Day 219: Dust Clouds

(Nikon D90, Sigma 70-200 II @ 170mm, f/4, 1/1600, ISO 200)

It's been a crazy couple of weeks, with the CCSA season winding down and all, so hopefully I'll get around to clearing the backlog.

Some Themelios games were happening on this day at a park that has had a less than favourable reputation during the summer.  It's the same park that Ekklesia had one of their games rained out a couple months back, forcing a rescheduled game that would happen the following week.

Woke up a little late and consequently arrived mid-way through the first game.  Pretty uneventful game, but managed catch both teams during their post-game devotions.  Good times.

One thing about this park that I've noticed, aside from the general overall poor quality is it's tendancy to kick up a lot of dust.  Doing anything but standing still on the diamond would generate a lot of dust clouds, and even the slightest wind could send such a cloud your way.

Second game was also fairly uneventful.  Derrick from Nex Gen was present to support his team (The Way).  Pretty easy-going day for the most part.  Headed to dinner with Themelios afterwards for some good times.

These would be my last Themelios games of the season, as all of their other games would (eventually) fall on days that Ekklesia had games.
